October 6, 2020

Dean Kurpjuweit (Executive Director of The Mustard Seed Edmonton) and Janis Irwin (MLA, Highlands-Norwood) cutting the ribbon to mark the official grand opening.

On September 26, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the official grand opening of the Mustard Seed Thrift Store in the Montrose and Highlands neighbourhoods’ of northeast Edmonton.  Customers came early to watch the ribbon cutting ceremony and hear a quick speech from MLA, Janis Irwin as she offered kind words to The Mustard Seed to honour the day.  Customers waited patiently in line and enjoyed a day full of bargain hunting for one-of- a- kind items.   Proceeds from the Grand Opening will go directly to the Employment Program.

A big you to staff, volunteers and donors who made our Grand Opening Thrift Store Event possible!
